if we sin willfully afeter recieving the knowlage of the truth there no longer remain,a sacrafic for sin , fearfull expectation of firy judgment thaty will devour the adverys ,,,,,, if after they have escaped the polutions of the world through knowlage of the lord and savoir , they are again intangled ,and over come the latter end is worse for them then in the beggining ,for it would have been better for them not to have know the way of righteousness , then HAVING KNOWN IT TO TURN FROM THE HOLY COMMANDS GIVERERN TO THEM ,,,,like a dog returning to his vomit ,,,,,and a sow back to wollo,,,,,,,,from memery ,,the first scripture is from herbrews and te seconed is from seconed peter ,,,,,,,these sopourt the doctrine of the repobat ,,,,,,,,,,and if god truly rejects somone forever ,,,then this person dose not have free will ,,,,,,because his will can never come to god ,he can choose god again ,is will is therfor in bondage ,,,,well theres a debate ,,,,,,,bless you all ,,,,,,,brother gary
well, as there is no explicit teaching in the Bible, that says: "the condition for receiving God's forgiveness is..."
so, we'll here different opinions
I think that what you need is to fell sorry (to regret) or what you did...
God will not forgive you if you first do not regret of what you did.
cathecism, 982 "There is no offense, however serious, that the Church cannot forgive. "There is no one, however wicked and guilty, who may not confidently hope for forgiveness, provided his repentance is honest. Christ who died for all men desires that in his Church the gates of forgiveness should always be open to anyone who turns away from sin"
